Charged with extending the platform technology pioneered at Playfish to the rest of EA on all gaming platforms, starting with iOS and Android. From January 2011 to May 2012 (1 year 5 months) London, United KingdomSenior Product Manager (among other things) @ Held various senior "intrepreneurial" product and commercial roles mainly concerning monetization, including regular interactions with the executive team. During this time we - Grew the user base from tens of millions to hundreds of millions. - Increased revenue 10x to nearly $1bn annually. - Grew headcount from a couple of hundred to nearly a thousand. - Were managed by the Skype founders, part of eBay, sold to VC's including Silver Lake Partners, Andreessen Horowitz and others ... before the eventual sale to Microsoft for $8.5bn in 2011. Highlights: 2010-2011: Product Manager for core consumer paid services that generated most of Skype's revenue.
