My primary responsibilities included managing, training, and assisting my team in all aspects of: 1) Research (finding candidates everywhere and getting their resumes!) 2) Sourcing/Candidate Intake (adding candidates to database, coding, initial contacts, etc) 3) Recruiting/Identify and match qualified Candidates for Jobs (reviewing resumes, phone screens, connecting good fits, etc) 4) Maintaining Timely Communications with Candidates (calling and emailing all at regularly scheduled intervals) 5) HR: Find, Screen, Hire, and Promote, or Replace Staff/Team Members as needed RESEARCH MANAGER - 2/2006 to 1/2008: My role as Research Manager included online research (boolean, advanced search strings, x-ray search, flipping and peeling techniques), sourcing (cold calling, referrals, networking, job boards, job postings, marketing), and database/desktop support (troubleshooting, design, and IT). Hired as Contractor 2/2006; received an offer letter to join as employee in 7/2007; promoted to Talent Acquisition Manager in 1/2008. From February 2006 to Present (9 years 9 months) Contractor: Accounting Data Entry Clerk/Bookkeeper @ Data entry with tax accounting software. Bookkeeping--processing client invoices, handling clients' personal finances (paying bills). Worked here at the same time as CPD. Left to have children. From February 1998 to June 1998 (5 months) Community Service Officer @ Interviewed/interrogated victims, witnesses, suspects, documented detailed police reports, testified in court cases, ensured safe custody exchange of children between estranged/divorced parents, enforced traffic laws and vehicle seizures and impounds. Left to have children. From 1994 to 1998 (4 years) Police Intern @ Provided security services at campus activities (football games, etc), enforced bomb threat protocols and campus parking laws, testified in traffic court, secured buildings at interval checks, assured safety of students and faculty while traveling to and from parking lots. Left because I transferred to another Police Department closer to home. From 1993 to 1994 (1 year) Management: Lead Undersealer @ Manufacturing management including: 6 direct reports--applied special coating to the underside of cars to protect them from salt water damage while being shipped overseas. Left to attend college full time. From 1991 to 1992 (1 year) Management: Assistant Manager @ Retail management including: 10 direct reports, daily transaction reporting of sales, merchandise marketing. Left for position with better commute after moving. From 1990 to 1991 (1 year) Management: Department Supervisor @ Retail management including: 15 direct reports, daily transaction reporting of sales, merchandise marketing. Left because store business was winding down after exclusion of store from the enclosure of outdoor strip-mall.
