In Cisco Services Technology Group we analyze and mine large volumes of data and find trends, patterns to provides predictions for our customers. ► Data as a Service Launched DaaS offering thereby achieving agility, cost effectiveness and data quality benefits. I designed the system where CRM data was mashed up against streaming Network Profiler data in an HBase table. In one centralized space we ensured cleansing, enriching of data and offer it to different systems, applications or users, irrespective of where they were in the organization. The technology stack leveraged Tomcat, MapR 4.x as the hadoop distribution of choice along with HBase 0.13, Spark 1.3.1, YARN/MapReduce, Sqoop 1.4.1 and Pentaho 5.x. ► Smart Analytics Big Data Platform This Platform enabled multiple Business Units to provide Analytics capability to end customers in Service Provides and Enterprise segment. The platform leveraging Big Data technology like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBase, Sqoop and Pentaho on UCS Servers.
