IS Manager - Business Intelligence Competency Centre @ Information Systems Manager leading the Global Business Intelligence Competency for the company. Accountable to define the overall strategy of business intelligence technologies. Accountable for managing the solution delivery of management reporting solution to support the new operating model and management of the vendors. Part of the leadership team in the Global Application Services team. From April 2014 to Present (1 year 9 months) CC Account Lead (Supply/Infra.) & Operations Manager (ISGS) @ Managing the customer demand for new services in the SUPPLY and INFRASTRUCTURE area to be support from the ISGS location in India/Poland. The responsibility also includes working with the Competency Centres in driving the Customer Service Reviews on a periodic basis, interacting during the roadmap sessions, driving Service Improvement Initiatives.
The major achievements till date are;
a. Project management of linking 4 factories from EAA with the ANZ Market via the Global DRP Application
b. Setup the Customer Service Review process for ISGS and initiated for the SUPPLY Competency
c. Started the SIP Program for GDRP to resolve business concerns
d. Initiated the Manugistics 7.8 upgrade project by partnering with the Competency
Managing the overall Operations of the site (vendor management, resource management, office administration) for the India Site. The major focus as a part of this role is also to drive Ownership within the Organization and help maintain a consistent level of service across both sites. The major initiatives till date are;
a. Training programme consolidation across sites
b. Vendor Consolidation initiative started to rationalize vendors globally
c. Resource Utilization via Activity Tracker initiated and being implemented presently
I am also responsible for defining the Operating Model of the Global Service centre spread across 3 locations and the strategy on the roadmap of the centre across 3 years. I have successfully implemented the process and the roadmap for 2012 has been achieved and the BTG process for 2013 is in progress.
I am also responsible for defining the BIG Data Workstream (INSIGHTS) for the global applications. The framework definition has been completed and the first set of information rollout is due by Q2 2013. From March 2012 to April 2014 (2 years 2 months) Senior Business Analyst - Commercial (EAA) @ Responsible for the management of the overall commercial (Fin, Sales, HR, Mkt.) applications being supported within the region (9 countries). the major achievements during this stint were;
a. Launching of a Marketing Application called LMT (Lead Market Tracker) to track the different plans in marketing and enable reporting within the management across Geographies
b. Managed the APM Integration of SSL with Reckitt Benckiser across EAA (~50 Applications)
c. Coordinated the overall One Order One Invoice Project for an ERP Standpoint
d. Involved in the design of Trade Spend and Marketing Spend Management Application for Emerging Markets
e. Involved in the Vendor selection process for distributor based systems
f. Setting up of the Customer based P&L reporting from a local sales standpoint
g. Company and Organization structure design from a financial reporting standpoint
In addition to the commercial ownership, also was managing the coordination of activities for the Supply projects. The major initiatives were;
a. Managing the training and execution of OFR/PFR Reporting across the region
b. Managing the Vendor escalation for the Gross Margin Variance Analysis Application
c. Involved in the initial coordination of the DRP project against 4 factories in EAA From April 2010 to February 2012 (1 year 11 months) Sr. Business Analyst (GSC) @ Responsible for managing the setup and support of the MANUGISTICS application along with the day to day management of the resources within JDE Support From April 2009 to April 2010 (1 year 1 month) Business Analyst @ Support for FINANCE related applications for the region was performed as a part of this role. I was majorly managing the technical aspects in my earlier roles and this was the first time, i started working on the business side of technology and my knowledge of the R2R process grew during this time. I also learnt the JDE package and became fluent in providing day to day support to the Business.
During this time, there was a requirement for a Demand Planning solution but the way in which the development was being managed was not correct. Keeping a global template in mind, i was assigned with the responsibility of designing the logic based on the Business processes. I created a Global Template on Oracle 9i which helped reduce the implementation from GBP 150K to GBP50K per country. This solution is currently live in 23 countries.

I started off with one Application but then moved to manage the support engagement of all the BI Applications given by the client. I grew the NR from a few hundred thousand to almost a Million for the organization. I managed a team size of ~30 when i left the organization and when i joined, i was managing a team of size 3. From 2006 to 2007 (1 year) Systems Analyst @ Managing the support for the FINANCE BI Solution and also responsible for the enhancements being made in the solution.The Finance BI Solution was a cutting edge solution which even featured in the MS Labs due to the volume of data being managed and the security concepts implemented. I started as the L4 support for the solution for Emerging Markets and moved for the global geographies
Technologies - SQL Server 2000, MS Analysis Services 2000 From 2005 to 2006 (1 year) System Analyst @ Managing the solution called AEPT (Automated Equipment Performance Tracking) in the assembly lines used for tracking the performance of equipments used to assemble the chips. EPT was the transactional system for capturing the information and a datawarehousing solution front-end used to report the information for the business community.
