Graduate Assistant @ From August 2015 to Present (2 months) Accounting Intern @ I am an accounting intern at Inmar currently working in the finance department. I assist with preparation of journal entries, month-end accruals, general ledger account reconciliations, schedules, and financial analysis. I was exposed to all facets of accounts payable by reviewing invoices for propriety, coding, proper matching to supporting documentation and ensuring necessary approval are obtained. I managed accounts payable processing through timely payment distributions and directly communicating with vendors about account activity. I also learned the customer billing and cash management cycle and was exposed to Inmar's diverse customer base. From June 2015 to August 2015 (3 months) Greensboro/Winston-Salem, North Carolina AreaStudent Assistant @ I worked as a student assistant at Lineberger Cancer Center. I worked with a team on several projects to find cures to HIV. I was responsible for taking care of the lab area and running tests.
