Worked with the Zope CMS and helped with interactive maps and features for the CAP website. From January 2008 to April 2008 (4 months) Civic Engagement Fellow @ Assisted with a survey of the Resource Center membership, using phone banking and one-on-ones, then compiled a report on the state of members and their interests and goals for the upcoming year. Reached out to members who had fallen out of contact with the center through phone banks and community events. Used innovative ways to reach inactive members, including online tools, and supervised an intern in the use of these tools. From January 2007 to August 2007 (8 months) Intern @ Filed news clips, helped edit and translate documents, and helped research for a report to the UN on U.S.-Mexico border deaths. Attended protests and meetings with officials about poor treatment of immigrants in towns.
