I began my career with Sutcliffe Catering and in 1998 was promoted to South West and Midlands regional manager managing B & I business. In October 2000 joined Quadrant Catering, a Compass joint venture with the Royal Mail, as operations director. Here I took responsibility for contracts in both the South of England and Northern Ireland, and also worked on the long-term catering, marketing and brand strategy for Quadrant. This included planning for the introduction of key brands such as Harry Ramsdens’ fish and chip shops. In April 2004 joined Compass’ key accounts team and managed contracts such as KPMG, progressing to take the lead for the mobilisation of the Tesco Retail account , where I was integral in developing the food offer, operating model for retail café’s and ensuring the contract went national within the Tesco estate. In June 2005 became managing director of Chartwells, Compass’ independent school division, before moving into a wider role as operations director for all of Compass’ education contracts in the South of England, in 2007. In Oct 2011 moved into her current role of Sales, Retention and client services role for Education, where I am responsible for the sales, retention, marketing and food service teams for all four sectors of Chartwells Education, Independent schools, State and Academy schools, Local Authority contracts and HE/FE, with a business turnover of 220m. In 2013 with the emerging market opportunities within UK Education I moved into my current role of UK Sales Director for Education, to lead a team of 8 Business Development Managers, deivering £30m of new business in 2014.
