Commercially responsible for two, top 5 global HP Public Sector accounts in the Netherlands: UWV/CWI and Dutch Police. Tasks and responsibilities include: the management of the overall relationship (including executive level), managing the two HP sales teams in order to drive long term revenue and margin growth, develop direction and strategy hereto, and work in close cooperation with partners and business management teams of HP. From November 2008 to April 2013 (4 years 6 months) Account Director @ NCR is the global market leader in retail assisted and self service systems, ATM’s and managed IT services. Commercially responsible for Ahold, NCR’s single largest outsourced retail account/deal in Europe, with a file value exceeding € 14 million per annum. Tasks and responsibilities included: the overall management of the relationship (executive level), to drive long term revenue and margin growth; develop direction and strategy for the account team. From January 2007 to October 2008 (1 year 10 months) Account Director @ BT Global Services (belonging to the BT Group, formerly known as British Telecom plc.) provides integrated telecom and IT services to meet the needs of multi-site organizations with world wide operations. My responsibilities included developing and closing world wide IT outsourcings projects (€ 30 million +) with blue-chip companies headquartered in The Netherlands. This entailed the full life cycle from qualification and subsequent business development of business opportunities, to negotiating contracts and closing deals. Accounts: TNT, Laurus, Heineken, Aegon, Ahold, SaraLee/DE . During my work at BT I was on an international assignment from November 2000 - November 2002 as Account Director to BT Retail and based in London, UK. During my assignment I was responsible for managing the KPMG and Ernst & Young accounts on a world wide basis. In addition I was actively involved in the development of BT’s IT outsourcing propositions for continental Europe & the Nordics.
