Data scientist, currently using statistics and the latest machine learning technologies to solve natural language processing problems.
Previously, I spent 6 months studying a self designed open source program to bring myself up to date with the latest tools and techniques in data science. The following interactive website, which I co-built using D3.js, illustrates the journey I took and the skills I acquired: www.datasciencejourney.com
Machine Learning Engineer @ Cantab Research provides state of the art speech recognition technology using the latest technology, currently dominated by recurrent neural networks. From February 2015 to Present (11 months) Cambridge, United KingdomData Scientist @ Tictrac is a Quantified Self platform that syncs over 200 sensors and third party services enabling users to track all aspects of their life in a unique place.
We provide our users with 'personal analytics' tools to gain a better understanding of themselves and how the different parts of their life interact, empowering them to make the changes that are most important to them where they are most meaningful. From January 2014 to May 2014 (5 months) Petroleum Engineer @ 2012 - 2013: Petroleum engineer in specialist well testing technology team including regular site visits to oversee exploration and appraisal operations. Main interest was in pressure transient analysis: extracting subsurface properties from analytical data helping to design wells, manage the reservoir and optimise production.
2011 - 2012: Rotating offshore in the North Sea, responsible for the weekly technical forecast and the daily production and losses report to be shared with all partners.
2010 - 2011: Reservoir engineer supporting Iraq operations. From September 2010 to January 2014 (3 years 5 months) Charity Counsellor @ http://www.vacamas.org/
The non-profit organization: "Vacamas Programs for Youth" welcomes children that come from moderate income families and at-risk youth populations.
I was in charge of planning and delivering charity camp, under the pressure of 24/7 duty and very challenging behaviour. From June 2010 to August 2010 (3 months) Laboratory Technician @ Responsible for lab work and jointly leading a study on eating preferences of children. From June 2009 to October 2009 (5 months) Dijon Area, FrancePetrophysics Internship @ As a petrophysicist, I was required to gain familiarity with a discipline I had never been exposed to and develop a solid understanding of the properties required to make an evaluation of a reservoir. I delivered a study on the impact of water saturation on unconsolidated formations. From June 2008 to September 2008 (4 months) Summer Intern @ Worked as part of a team of computer scientists revising instruction manuals to be corresponded to the US for corrections. From July 2006 to August 2006 (2 months) Beijing City, China
Master of Science (MSc), Experimental and Theoretical Physics, 2.i @ University of Cambridge From 2006 to 2010 Classe Preparatoire PCSI, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Studies @ Lycee St Louis From 2005 to 2006 Sabine Crevoisier is skilled in: Statistics, Machine Learning, Speech Recognition, Data Analysis, Data Science, R, Python, JavaScript, d3.js, C++, jQuery, Java, Octave, Well Testing, Pressure Transient Analysis
