The Credit Risk Data Warehouse (CRDW) is the repository of the data used by Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM) for its current credit risk and economic capital reporting conducted within the Portfolio Management Division (“PMD”), and to provide data for Basel II and Basel I credit risk capital calculations.
In order to substantiate the validity and completeness of the CRDW transactional data, a reconciliation process between CRDW and PeopleSoft General Ledger was established.

Admin & Claims are purely customized modules, which mainly loads configuration data from feeder system and processes health and life premiums/claims respectively.
However, the existing system was implemented in PeopleSoft 7.5 (and PeopleTools 7.53). This upgrade project is a major leap by implementing web based application and modifying some of the processes using hybrid approach. In this approach, MetLife did major development changes to utilize web based application and simplify/speed up transaction processing. The system was upgraded from PeopleSoft 7.5 to PeopleSoft 8.8 (and PeopleTools 8.48) on Oracle 10g platform.
