At an early age I fell in love with technology, sports and music. Some of my colleagues have joked that I was a born with a silver mouse in my hand -- at the time, having computers at home was cutting edge, and I certainly was fortunate. Later, when my pro athlete and rock star aspirations solidified as hobbies, my passion for technology directed my path forward. My innate desire for balance is evidenced by how I pursued a Computer Science degree from a liberal arts school, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since then I've spent over 10 years working for a diverse group of technology companies that have taught me how to build high quality software and work effectively with people. Now, Expedia allows me to share this information with my team and embrace the latest technologies to solve tough problems. My team at Expedia uses technology to create user experiences that deliver business value, delight our customers and revolutionize the travel industry.
