Senior Director, Talent Acquisition @ OpenTable is the world's leading provider of online restaurant reservations, seating more than 16 million diners per month via online bookings across more than 32,000 restaurants. The OpenTable network connects restaurants and diners, helping diners discover and book the perfect table and helping restaurants deliver personalized hospitality to keep guests coming back.
OpenTable enables diners to see which restaurants have available tables, select a restaurant based on verified diner reviews, menus and other helpful information, and easily book a reservation. INNOVATION: project lead on internal, pan-HR initiative to seamlessly integrate all executive touch points from recruiting through onboarding and new hire orientation; designed and built new capabilities in executive recruiting; implemented new systems (CRM).
TALENT ACQUISITION: built global executive recruiting function for the firm, focused on Managing Director positions. Managed team of seven recruiters and associates in New York, San Francisco and London.
OPERATIONS: managed company ATS (Taleo) including conversion and subsequent upgrades; programs (employee referral, websites and job boards); metrics and analytics. Partnered with HRIS and HRSS teams to design and build meaningful dashboards.
COMPENSATION: significant experience as partner with compensation team to analyze complex executive packages, structure compelling offer recommendations and write the business case for President and Board Compensation Committee approval.
TALENT DEVELOPMENT: partnered with Talent Management team to design and execute Managing Director promotion process, internal mobility and succession planning initiatives.
DIVERSITY: ownership for key company relationships with selected diversity organizations and for driving culture change to support company diversity objectives.
VENDOR MANAGEMENT: direct responsibility for managing $10-$15M annual spend. Partnered with procurement team to identify opportunities for improvement in contractual relationships with executive search firms to drive economic efficiencies.
