Hymans is an independent pension’s consultancy, who provide Risk Management, Pension’s Investment Advice and Benefit Communications. I was a QA on their Guided Outcomes project, aimed at providing Employers with expected likelihood of hitting target retirement incomes, for each of their employees. I created and maintained a number of different automated test harnesses, using C# and Jasmine (Protractor) for the latter. This involved working closely with BAs, Tech Leads and the Project Manager in order to prioritise feature level tests and to understand where the test harnesses could provide the most benefit. Along with this, I utilised SQL for DB queries and created views for reporting purposes (which were also used as part of the automated testing process). I used Microsoft's TFS to track User Stories and defects, as well as storing test plans.
