I'm an Android developer with a eye for detail. I love getting immersed in a new and unique technical challenge, and seek to work on products that serve real needs.
My background encompasses a wide range of interest and experience -- my earliest days as a fashion student shifted into linguistics and computer science, and I spent my first two-plus years out of school teaching English, mostly in China. Getting back into code in 2013, I took my first Android job in 2014, and have continued to grow quickly as a software developer.

Android Engineer @ From November 2015 to Present (2 months) Lead Android Developer @ Inheriting a first version and bringing it to the app’s present form, I worked closely with our backend developers and designer as the product evolved with marketing. Technical highlights include:
- A chunked upload system for pictures and video with a nearly 100% success rate, based on a queue with SQLite cache for requests.
- An ongoing reorganization of the app toward a testable, decoupled architecture.
- A full forum system based on a Reddit-style backend API, with server-client content sync, deep linking, and notifications.
