Painting Conservator @ Particular interest in the conservation of contemporary paintings. Section co-ordinator for Artist Interviews. Research interests include ethical issues relating to the conservation of ephemeral artwork. The highlight of my career has been the restoration of the vandalised Mark Rothko painting 'Black on Maroon'. A collaboration with Dr Bronwyn Ormsby and Patricia Smithen. It just doesn't get better than that. From April 1999 to Present (16 years 6 months) Painting Conservator Scholarship Intern @ Under-studied with Richard Gagnier, Conservator of Contemporary Art. Main study included the conservation of a variety of objects by Canadian artist Joyce Weiland. From July 1998 to April 1999 (10 months) Conservation Officer @ Conservation of historical, modern and contemporary paintings within the collection. From September 1994 to July 1998 (3 years 11 months)
