Prim Paypon /Primitivo Ferraris Paypon, Jr./ is a Filipino dream enabler and voluntrainer who founded The Dream Project PH – a non-profit, volunteer-based community initiative that helps build the nation by shaping the dreams of the Filipino youth through creative education, social design innovation, youth voluntraining and community collaboration. The Dream Project PH also started as a dream for Prim, a man ahead of his time who in April 2013 quit his executive corporate job and chose to come home to Bacolod City, his home city, after years of living in Manila. He left the comfort and stability of his job to share the Filipino dream to the youth close to his hearth and home. Launched on 24 June 2013, to date, The Dream Project PH has already collaborated with more than 200 organizations, and created more than 200 projects, ranging from sustainable programs to innovative technologies and infrastructures, with superior strategies and zero to inferior resources.
A high school valedictorian of Trinity Christian School in Bacolod City in 2000, he is a generalist with a degree in Biology from the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City where he graduated Summa cum Laude in 2004, and received numerous awards on academic, leadership and community service. Among them were NOPSSCEA Most Outstanding Student in the Tertiary Level and The Outstanding Student (THOS) Award from the Bacolod Jaycees. It was in the same year that he was awarded by the President of the Republic of the Philippines as one of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines for demonstrating academic excellence, exemplary leadership, and strong sense of social responsibility, becoming the first TOSP National Awardee from the University of St. La Salle – Bacolod.
Right now, he enjoys being based in Bacolod City where he started as a young man who dreamed to make a difference and share his love for the Philippines.
Founder & Dream Enabler @ The Dream Project PH (TDP PH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based community initiative which helps build the nation by shaping the dreams of the Filipino youth through creative education, social design innovation and youth voluntraining. To date, TDP PH has already created more than 180 sustainable concept projects, and collaborated with more than 200 organizations, institutions, companies across the Philippines. From June 2013 to Present (2 years 7 months) National Secretary @ TOSP-AC is the official and national organization of all alumni of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) Program.
As the National Secretary and part of the National Core Group, we design and implement projects and programs that provide platform for youth participation in nation building through the 12 TOSP Regional Chapters.
We have created 12 TOSP Regional Programs and Alumni Community chapters in 12 regions and counting; Youth Hours for college and university students; and Project Pagsulong. From August 2012 to Present (3 years 5 months) Founder & Alumnus @ TOSP - VICTORS is the regional chapter community of the alumni of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) Program in Western Visayas.
Among its youth initiatives are the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines - Region VI Formation Program, Youth Hours, and leadership training seminars given to college students in Western Visayas. From April 2005 to Present (10 years 9 months) Region VI - Western Visayas, PhilippinesFounder & President @ IdeaCube is a startup idea company that focuses on the ideation x incubation of programs and concepts for mission-based organizations to maximize available opportunities and address social gaps. From January 2014 to December 2014 (1 year) Imagineer/Columnist @ Imagineer is my Friday column in SunStar Bacolod dedicated to capture and share the inspiring life stories and dedicated passion works of great Filipinos all over the world. These are Filipinos who imagine + engineer a better world. From March 2014 to September 2014 (7 months) Manager - Training, Organizational Development and Employee Relations @ Training, Organizational Development & Employee Relations (TODER) is the corporate task force of the RFM Corporation under the Corporate Human Resource and Legal. It takes charge of creating, designing and implementing programs that engage and engage employees to increase their sense of work and productivity. From November 2012 to April 2013 (6 months) Executive Director @ RFM Foundation is the corporate social responsibility arm of the RFM Foundation which takes charge of its internal (employees, departments) and external (communities, stakeholders, partners) affairs that promote human economic development.
As Executive Director, I led the RFM Foundation in making the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) National Program a youth formation and nation-building program. We planted more TOSP Regional Search Programs, and worked with TOSP - Alumni Community to sustain initiatives by creating TOSP - AC Region Chapters. Together with TOSP - Alumni Community, we created more Youth Hours, a youth platform which bring to life "youth participation in nation building". We co-created Project Pagsulong, a Php 1M youth challenge to alleviate poverty through social enterprise, with partners PLDT, PLDT-Smart Foundation and TOSP - Alumni Community. From November 2011 to April 2013 (1 year 6 months) National Chairman, Education and Training Committee @ The Education and Training Committee (ETC) of the TOSP - Alumni Community is the task force which takes charge of the training needs of all alumni regional chapters; i.e. modules and trainings/workshops on facilitation, formation, and project management. These modules run the National and Regional Formation Programs of TOSP, Youth Hours, and various leadership training seminars. From July 2007 to August 2012 (5 years 2 months) TOSP Program Officer @ As TOSP Program Officer, I took charge of program standards and management, networking and partnerships and resource mobilization of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines. From October 2007 to August 2009 (1 year 11 months)
