The project uses Symfony as web framework and exposes a REST API which is consumed by the company's various components making up its supply chain. The project also integrates with 3rd party routing and Fleet Management services, consuming via protocols such as SOAP.
My main contribution was to introduce Behat to the team, help implement it and make sure we used its behaviour driven scenarios to cover all aspect of the project's API it was exposing. It made for a very robust architecture, helping us catch and troubleshoot bugs early and gave us the security and peace of mind to add functionality to the project as we went along.
