Started my McDonald's career opening the second McDonald's Restaurant in Mexico City, working part time as crew member while still in high school in 1986. I made the decision to leave the company to pursue a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, held couple of positions in Rodacarga (Specialized Material Handling Engineering and Design Group), joined Construmac (Construction and Mining Industry) as Service Manager representing Nordberg mining division, Simplicity and others. After few years decided to join back McDonald's, this time as Equipment Manager in Mexico, then relocating to Oak Brook in 2002. Since then, I have participated on multiple cross-functional teams such as McCafe standards, Indirect Labor Platform Team. Also been providing leadership for the Worldwide Convention exhibit execution, Area of the World support, and most recently developing a strategy to streamline the Equipment Development Process.
I am a past President's Award winner and like many of you who does whatever it takes to add value to every project and assignment.
Currently I am Director in Worldwide Equipment Systems, and my role is to develop plans to drive global supplier performance using balance scorecards to make fact base decisions.
Also, in order to keep my Spanish fluent I am the Area of the World support liaison for Latin America.
