Phil is General Manager Investments at Eastspring Investments in Singapore. Eastspring Investments, part of Prudential Corporation Asia, is a leading retail and institutional asset manager in Asia with about US$115 billion (£67 billion) in assets under management in the region (as at 30 June 2014).
Phil is a senior investment management executive specialising in strategy, operations, product and corporate development, and with well developed people leadership skills gained working at top tier global organisations. He is a C-suite general manager with international experience and a track record of achievement in investment management, wealth management, financial planning, M&A, financial accounting and management consulting.
Previous roles include 8 years as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of BT Investment Management in Australia where he was a key member of the leadership team that transformed the business into a publicly listed world-class investment manager, including an IPO of the business in 2007, the acquisition of J O Hambo Capital Management in 2011 and the reinvigoration of the product range.
Additionally Phil has worked at McKinsey & Company, BT Financial Group, Westpac, and KPMG.
