We have switched our remote locations to use 1Gig wireless connection between remote locations and main hospital by utilizing Bridgewave product line. I am responsible for managing Hospital’s Microsoft Enterprise Agreement to make sure all benefits are utilized to the fullest extent. During past years I have been responsible for several key projects at the Hospital: design and implementation of entire Infrastructure from server refresh to extensive virtualization currently we have 200 servers in VMware 4.1, new security solution Firewalls, reverse proxy, hard proxy with content filtering, email Encryption and content filtering with HIPPA and HITECH in mind as well as SPAM control, implementation of IBMs Tivoli access Manager ESSO portion. Completed storage upgrade DS8700, DS5300, secondary tier, DS5100 DS4200 storage line with SAN volume controllers to virtualize all storage at enterprise level. Upgraded Exchange from 2003 to 2007 and finishing migration plans to 2010, upgrade of Microsoft OCS 2008 to LYNC, Upgrade of Citrix farm from 6 years old CAGS and presentation servers to new 7500 Netscalers to include load balancing. I also implemented new generator and UPS with Emerson liebert systems. Lead the project coordination with several departments with implementation of STAR, Horizon Clinical Infrastructure, HEFM, HEMM, Admin RX, HPF, PICIS, HED, Admin RX, HMM, PHS, PeopleSoft and HSS to name a few. During past years I have been responsible for several key projects at the Hospital; design and implementation of CISCO Network, new security solution, new storage primary ESS800, DS5300, DS5100, secondary tier DS4800, DS4200 with SAN volume controllers to virtualize all storage at enterprise level, implemented new generator and UPS upgrade. Lead the project coordination with several departments; the Generator and UPS project. During the implementations of these projects, I also had managing responsibilities for over 40 individuals Primary responsibility for internal technical resources from several areas to ensure proper functioning of entire Data Center. Other areas of responsibilities include managing the following teams; NOC, Help Desk, Systems Technicians, Senior Systems Technicians, Systems Engineers, and IT Security Engineers. I have successfully ensured that all of my teams function with a positive attitude, professionalism and appropriate problem solving skills. By implementing positive process changes; my technical staff now operates on extended hours, my and implemented a retraining program for all NOC and Help Desk personnel so they can assist end user when they receive a call by assisting them remotely and resolving their issue promptly, I successfully raised our customer satisfaction level from 70% to 96%. Proactive education for my Senior Engineers and IT Security Engineers has improved network uptime from 80% to 99% and no security breaches have ever occurred.
