Dynamics ERP enables customers to accept credit and debit card payments online and at point of sale systems. I developed and tested payment solutions including
- Payment services across various client applications in our retail ecosystem such as Windows desktop, phone and e-commerce applications. .
- Automated UI tests using Selenium framework for the payment services provisioning site.
- Payment sign up and provisioning site that showcases the payment providers that will be supported by our partners and enables their customers to sign up for a payment service.
- Client application upgrades to support EMV standards.
Test and maintain client payment framework using payment hardware such as network payment terminal, PINPAD, signature capture, magnetic swipe reader. From January 2015 to Present (1 year) Software Development Engineer I @ E-commerce
Developed parts of the solution that lets retailers deploy, manage and customize online sales channels integrated with our backend solution, in particular,
- Plug and play controls such as shopping cart, checkout, customer account, address book, wish list and retail promotions. Gained experience across the stack - from database (SQL), back end (C#), AJAX- enabled WCF services, client side to UI (ASP.NET server controls, Typescript, HTML, CSS).
- Shopping cart persistence flow for authenticated customers.
- Cross channel real time support for wish lists.
- Discounts support for e-commerce by upgrading our pricing engine.
These controls ship with our out-of-the-box sharepoint, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC storefronts.
Catalog and channel management
Using Dynamics AX, customers can create product collections, manage catalogs, prices and promotions for brick-and-mortar and online channels from a central database. I developed
- Virtual catalogs that let customers purchase products in one store in the context of another store.
- Automated tests for the attribute framework. From June 2012 to December 2014 (2 years 7 months) Project assistant @ Part of the Data Acquisition software team working on processing and filtering data accumulated from neutrino detectors in the South Pole.
