As a chartered chemical engineer, I have 19 years of comprehensive experience in the oil refining industry. My career has ranged from large oil companies such as ExxonMobil and Shell, market leading oil refinery catalyst suppliers such as AkzoNobel and Johnson Matthey, to renowned equipment suppliers such as Nutter Engineering and most recently, Emtrol.
I have built a strong reputation as a pro-active, customer-oriented and trusted service provider in my industry. I have built strong, respectful and mutually beneficial relationships across the board, from operators to senior oil industry managers in national oil companies, independents and majors.
My success in business development is based on my deep technical and operational understanding of oil refineries and my proven sales and relationship management skills that I have developed over the years, whilst meeting challenging sales targets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and North America.
Over time, I have managed and led different sized teams - from local engineering teams, virtual sales teams to technical service teams across different markets and time zones. As a member of the business executive team at Johnson Matthey Catalysts, I contributed to business strategy and the successful acquisition of Intercat.
I am an invited speaker at industry conferences such as ERTC, RRTC and the Grace Davison European FCC Technology Conference and have been a second author on several operational papers.
