Director & Owner @ Director & Principal Architect From February 1989 to Present (26 years 11 months) Director and Owner @ Director & Principal Architect From 2002 to Present (13 years) Invited Governor with Construction Portfolio and Immediate past Chairman of Governors @ I successfully led Highlands College Board of Governors through an incredible period of change at Highlands College amid heavy demands placed on College resources over last few years from substantial increase in student numbers during the recesion. I established a new mode of Governance during an interregnum period when I initiated a joint Steering Group chaired by the Minister for Education, upon DfESC initiating a Joint Review of Highlands College & Hautlieu School following the previous Principal Professor Ed Sallis announcing his retirement in February 2012. The Joint Steering Group involved Governors from both Highlands & Hautlieu working together during a period where Senior Management worked in Interim roles, pending conclusion of the Joint Review.
During this period I have made presentations to over 100 College staff; I have consulted with and advised the Minister for Education / Director of Education / Interim Chief Executive / Highlands Interim Head / Highlands Senior Management Team; I have acted as an Ambassador for Highlands College providing stability and continuity; I have delivered numerous speeches at Prize-Giving's, Graduation Congregations and other celebrations of Highlands students success; I have engaged with Stakeholders; I have advised Chairman of Skills Jersey; I sat on the interview Panel to select a new Highlands Principal; I have supported and advised fellow Governors - successfully leading Highlands College into a new era with our new Principal Steve Lewis who joined in August 2014.
After serving as Chairman of Governors for the maximum three-year term the Board of Governors asked me to continue as an Invited Governor from January 2015 with specific responsibility for the Construction Faculty. From January 2012 to Present (4 years) Jersey, United Kingdom
