I am a software engineer who specializes in the construction and automation of test and build frameworks. I am especially interested in automated system testing, continuous integration, streamlining development processes, and infrastructure as code. My favorite current technologies include Docker, Jenkins, Python, and the Atlassian tool suite. Before becoming a software engineer, I spent 8 years in the United States Air Force as a diesel equipment and HVAC technician, followed by 2 years at United Rentals while I pursued a bachelors in Information Science - and managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA while working a ton of overtime in the process.

We have extensive automation using Docker and a number of fun big-data and high-performance aspects of the system. From December 2014 to Present (1 year 1 month) Greater New York City AreaSoftware Engineer @ - Developed continuous integration process, converting many systems from manual to fully integrated, including unit tests, system tests including target hardware, and build systems. - Created build system to make use of a diverse tool set involving Rational tools, Green Hills Software, and the INTEGRITY OS. - Developed code coverage and unit test reporting tools to integrate existing test tools with an automated Jenkins environment. - Worked on build automation on systems ranging from Java to embedded C with ten year old compilers. This was later adopted at AGE shops at other bases. Served four tours overseas, ensured operation success despite low manning and lack of adequate tools and spare parts.
