Santa Clara Alum Rock BRT-Specification Task Lead and design review.
California High Speed Rail:Managed 15% Structures Design for the Peninsula Corridor from San Mateo County to San Francisco. Managed the tunnel design for the Peninsula Corridor, San Jose to San Francisco. Responsible for 15% level design for a number of alternatives including viaduct, open trench, tunnel. We worked with the management team for the CHSR Authority to develop design criteria, and coordinated design with utilities, systems, R/W, geotechnical and may other disciplines.
Over 20 years of experience with Caltrans:
San Lorenzo Bridge PSR-City of Santa Cruz to widen/replace the San Lorenzo Bridge due to severe congestion/bottle neck. I prepared PSR and managed staff and budget to complete the PSR for Caltrans final Approval.
Blossom Hill Pedestrian Overcrossing-I prepared a PSR/PR for this Ped OC over Monterey Highway in South San Jose. Caltrans approved the document. I managed the design of the structure and Civil improvements including the addition of architectural features. Project was completed on time and under budget. Project client: VTA.
SR 84/US101 Interchange Feasibilility Study-I managed a study to improve the 84/101 interchange in Redwood City. An environmental, structural, geotechnical, civil and R/W assesment was performed for each alternative and LOS was determined for each intersection in the study area. The study was/is the basis for the PA/ED currently underway. Client: SMCTA
Route 101 HOV Lane-Deputy PM for this project to add an HOV lane to Route 1 in Santa Cruz County. Developed several alternatives for the widening and 7 interchanges in the project study area. Provided all preliminary engineering in support of the ED.

Senior Project Manager, PE @ I am working as a Senior Project Manager for Hatch Mott MacDonald as of November 16, 2015. Specific assignment will be posted soon as soon as all the details are worked out. From November 2015 to Present (2 months) Senior Project Manger @ I am a Senior Project Manager working on Business Development, Senior Project design and review, and project lead on various transportation projects. Specifically, I am the project lead for development of specification on the Santa Clara ALum Rock BRT Project. In addition I am the Project Manager for the I 680 Ramp Widening project. I have also been working on permitting for Real Time Passenger Information Signs for the Golden Gate Highway and Transportation District. Beginning in July 2011, my role was Office Director of this 25 person office. The office was comprised of Civil, Structural, Planning, Traffic design and analysis professionals. In addition, there were specialty professionals including specialty structures, finance and alternative delivery.
From May 2007 to July 2011, my primary role was Transportation Manager overseeing all the Civil and Structural staff. In addition, I was project manager for several transportation projects listed below.
San Mateo County Transportation Authority
AECOM joint ventured with Mark Thomas was one of 3 General Engineering Contracts providing various engineering and planning services to the SMCTA. I was Project Manager for this client. Out of a total of 7 task orders, specific task orders managed and designed by my group include:
Caltrain Corridor Footprint Study-This project was a feasibility study of 18 grade separations in San Mateo County.
84/101 Interchange Feasibility Study
California High Speed Rail-I was the PM for a structural task to design all HST structures from San Francisco for half of the Peninsula Corridor. In addition, I was the PM for all the Tunnel design for the Peninsula Corridor.
