Led the engineering effort to build ViPR platform from scratch, and managed the team thru the extremely successful launch at EMC World 2013, GA, initial customer adoptions, and over 6 product releases in less than 18 months following GA. Since it's inception, ViPR has been adopted by some of the largest datacenters around the world, and has won several prestigious awards:

- Spain Data Center Market Award (Storage Software Evolution Category)
EMC ViPR (pronounced Viper) Controller or it's open sourced version Project CoprHD, is a key building block for software defined datacenters and an enabler for IT departments in moving to DevOps. It is an open and extensible platform with a comprehensive API, to enable automation of ITaaS workflows across physical hosts, virtualization technologies, storage systems, fiber-channel and IP networks, with support for numerous data center technologies from EMC, VMware, Cisco, Brocade, Microsoft etc. It can turn heterogeneous and complex (geo-distributed) datacenters into an efficient, flexible, and secure cloud that can scale to manage millions of resources. In addition to being a world class automation platform, EMC ViPR Controller provides state of the art cloud security and multi-tenancy features that have been proven in the stringent environments such as banking/finance and federal govt. From May 2012 to April 2015 (3 years) Sr. Mgr, R&D @ Managed R&D efforts on VMware vCenter and cloud management platform services.
The cloud platform services team was responsible for creating a set of services including distributed coordination, messaging, cloud scale persistence, authentication and authorization, historical and real-time reporting, and pushing alerts/events, to serve as the core foundation for distributed cloud management applications.
