I am currently an Interactive Developer with Sapient Global Markets, working on various UI projects within the financial industry. I've graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor's degree in New Media Interactive Development.
As an ID, I work almost exclusive with with the MVC design pattern, predominantly using Backbone.js and an in-house made framework named Keel. I've also done some additional training on Angular.js and have worked as a teacher assistant for an internal training program covering Angular, Sass, unit testing, and e2e testing in Bangalore, India.
I have also give a few small presentations, explaining a bit about a new technology and hopefully sparking interest in others to use it. I have linked some examples down below.
I have a strong interest in data visualization, as well as implementing strong user interfaces. An up-and-coming technology that excites me the most would be polymers. No more begrudgingly faking custom check boxes!
