Overall responsibility for the safe and profitable delivery of all foundation contracts within the region to meet the revenue and income expectations of the business. Management of business development and pre-construction activities including selection of bids and bid strategy and maintenance of the monthly forecast. Manager responsible for the operational implementation of BIM. From September 2013 to May 2015 (1 year 9 months) Operations Manager (Cementation) @ Responsible for the safe and profitable delivery of contracts within Central London. Support Pre-construction and Business Development activities. Projects that I had overall responsibility for included: C411 Bond Street Advanced Civils - forming basement structures for the Western and Eastern Ticket Halls for the new Crossrail Station. Techniques included diaphragm wall, secant wall, large diameter bearing piles, plunge columns and geothermal loops. C405 Paddington Station - construction of diaphragm walls and large diameter tension piles with plunge columns for the new Crossrail Station box. C310 Thames Crossing - portal structures for the Crossrail tunnel beneath the Thames between North Woolwich and Plumstead. Techniques included diaphragm wall, secant wall, large diameter tension piles and CFA piles. Hackney Shaft - TBM reception chamber for the North London Cable Tunnels project. The shaft was formed using diaphragm wall techniques in an extremely confined site. From April 2011 to September 2013 (2 years 6 months) Senior Area Engineer (Piling) @ Senior Engineer in Southern Area, responsible for operational contracts and bid support. Projects delivered during this period included: Neo Bankside - residential development on the South Bank. Comprised CFA secant wall and large diameter rotary bearing piles with geothermal loops. Bulgari Hotel and Residences - diaphragm wall and large diameter bearing piles with plunge columns for top down construction of six level basement. Included first application of geothermal loops in a diaphragm wall in the UK. Pudding Mill Lane Portal - part of the team that delivered this early part of the Crossrail Project. From July 2008 to March 2011 (2 years 9 months) Area Engineer (Piling) @ Engineer responsible for managing all aspects of piling contracts, including health and safety, quality, planning and cost. Projects including: A2/M2 Pepper Hill Widening - CFA piling for bridge structures and motorway gantries. One New Change - Deputy Project Manager rising to Project Manager for large piling contract for mixed use development in The City of London. The contract included secant piling, plunge columns and geothermal piles/wells. From January 2007 to July 2008 (1 year 7 months) Contract Engineer (Piling) @ Engineer responsible for technical and quality management of contracts. Selection of projects include: Kings Place - Diaphragm wall to form three level basement. Isle of Grain - CFA piling for three LNG tanks and supporting infrastructure. M1 J6A-10 Widening - foundations for new structures to facilitate widening the existing carriageway. Disciplines including CFA, large diameter rotary and soil nails.
