Architect @ From June 2014 to Present (1 year 7 months) Co Founder @ From June 2015 to Present (7 months) Product Analyst @ Work with product managers, engineers, and designers to conceptualise and drive new features and products; Organise cross-functional Agile software development teams; Communicate development status and progress toward milestones; Perform market research and analysis to inform product strategy. From September 2014 to June 2015 (10 months) Teaching Assistant at the Interprofessional Projects Program @ Guided a team of multidisciplinary undergraduate students through a product design and development process. Their goal was to design a coffee mug.
A coffee mug is a simple product. which is why it has been designed many times over and there are a lot of existing products in the market. To create something innovative, the team was forced to diverge and reframe the definition of a coffee mug. This resulted in a very simple product with an interesting market fit.
Their final product was an espresso shot chocolate cup to attract luxury restaurateurs. The team used their own expertise as chemists and mechanical engineers to create a product with great market potential by using design methods and processes that were being introduced to them regularly. I taught this team as a part of course work for the course "managing interdisciplinary teams" and this experience is a great personal success as I was able to help the team find and apply their strength and pursue an interesting path. From January 2014 to May 2014 (5 months) Immersion Program Participant @ Worked in a multidisciplinary team with the Itaú Unibanco Wealth Management Services Group. The project was based in São Paulo where we immersed in the context of emerging Brazil to learn about its culture, and to gain a better understanding of how design methods can be used in Brazil.
Our team was responsible for the development of service innovation concepts. At the end of the program, we delivered a coherent strategic plan for Itaú Unibanco to help them redefine banking in the wealth management segment of banking in Brazil. We conceptualized a platform for Itaú where third party financial advisers will promote products regardless of its provider, yet the platform would make Itaú nodal with disproportionate influential power. From June 2013 to July 2013 (2 months) Project Coordinator @ Worked during the startup period, when popularizing the studio and its creatives was the most important part of the job. We were constantly assessing potential projects to match with the studio's goals and its brand. We were also initiating and organizing events to promote our clients and the studio. My tasks included budgeting, procuring, business development and managing resources. From October 2011 to August 2012 (11 months) Junior Architect (Part-time) @ Was employed to develop a 16.5 acres of agricultural land into a family rural retreat. I did the master plan with the major zones and circulation and the initial design of the vacation house. From June 2012 to July 2012 (2 months) Design Architect @ Primary responsibility was to design and supervise construction of interior spaces and furniture for penthouses and apartments.
