My skills & abilities, which are largely oriented around real estate, finance & sales, go into overdrive when I sense an opportunity to help someone or something overcome a challenge. The bigger the challenge, the more on fire I become.
Teaching others what I know about real estate & mortgage lending is my #1 career passion. I didn't get into real estate for the money. I got into real estate because as an account executive of a sub-prime lender selling high rate loans, I reasoned that the best way to help people avoid getting a loan like that was to be involved in educating them on the 'front-end' of the transaction.
Since most people consult a real estate agent 1st when dealing with their home, it only made sense that I get a real estate license. In 2006 while still working as an Acct Exec, I became a Realtor.
Even the years that immediately followed my licensing during the mortgage crisis were a blessing. I spent time managing a poorly operated HUD certified non-profit designed to help individuals obtain affordable mortgages & avoid foreclosure. Although not a direct comparison to the experience of Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego (Daniel Ch. 1-3), the time I spent managing my branch had similar themes. Primarily, I, like the 3 men, voluntarily entered a very difficult situation because of my belief.
Just like Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego, I was not alone at all during that trying time. The 4th figure that loosed them from the ties that bound them & saved them from the fire was the same one that got me through. Anyone who has been through a fire is SUPPOSED to smell like smoke. But Daniel teaches that not only were these men not burned by the fire; they didn't even smell like smoke! That is exactly what Jesus did for me.
I now own an operate 2 successful businesses: Realty Processing, Inc. which processes real estate transactions & People 1st Realty which hires agents who put people before property. We are looking forward to being of service to you.
