From 2008 to Present (7 years) London, United KingdomCo–founder & Partner @ Scrawl Collective was born out of the publication 'Scrawl – dirty graphics and strange characters' (Booth–Clibborn Editions, 1988). Myself and Ric Blackshaw identified and championed a new generation of young talent who were inspired by the book and its story. The book featured such luminaries as Futura, Doze, Mode2 and SheOne from the graffiti scene and also a piece by a very young pre–stencil Banksy. By the time the second book 'Scrawl Too, More Dirt', was published in 2001 the agency had grown to 12 artists and designers undertaking commissions and exhibiting globally.
Working with commercial partners such as Swatch, Adidas, Sony Music, Boxfresh, Nike, Levi’s and Puma we showcased their worked in department store windows and empty warehouse spaces through events and pop-up galleries.
