I worked at TECHNICAL OLYMPIC SA as Project Manager due to Reconstruction of the Grant Resort Porto Karras for the European Union Leaders Summit Meeting 2003 at Chalkidiki -Sithonia. From April 2003 to September 2005 (2 years 6 months) Project Manager in Rail Sector @ Responsible of supervising, coordinating and controlling subcontractors as far concern the power electrical & automation design of some of the extensions of metro in Athens city according the specifications of the contract. I was responsible for coordination between the contractors, the subcontractors and the Attiko Metro SA for technical and contractual issues. Also I was supervising and taking care of corrective actions about the design. I was making claims to the contractor on behalf of Attiko Metro about the design. From September 2002 to March 2003 (7 months) Head of Project and Maintenance in Electrical and Automation in Metal Industry @ A) 05-03-2001 to 31-08-2002: I worked at ELVAL SA (member of VIOHALCO GROUP) as Head of Electrical & Electronic dpt of new cold rolling mill dpt. My sector included: a) Cold Rolling Mill (12 MW), b) Automatic Coils Storage, c) Trimmer Machine ,d) Grinder Machine ,e) Annealing Furnaces. During the commissioning period I was assigned as project manager to supervise, coordinate multicultural staff by different companies like SIEMENS, SMS, SIEMAG, and VATECH. Additionally I was assigned to optimize the operation and process of the installation as well to implement technical improvements and modifications. Finally I was assigned to lead and set up the maintenance dpt, implement the improvements of the electrical and electronic equipment of the plant and to design & implement (drawings, equipment selection, automation programming and project management of the construction) the new small - scale production lines or being project manager for the new big - scale production lines. The last months I was assigned also the department of the old cold rolling mills and actively participated in the revamping of an old cold rolling mill with the cooperation of TOSHIBA (JAPAN).
B) 31-07-2000 to 28-02-2001: I worked at the foundries of HALCOR SA (member of VIOHALCO GROUP) as Head of the Electrical - Electronic department .I was responsible for the maintenance ,revamp and improvement of the electrical and electronic equipment of the plant and to design (drawings ,equipment selection ,automation programming and supervision of the construction) for the new small- scale production lines or supervision for the new big - scale production lines. From July 2000 to August 2002 (2 years 2 months) Sergeant of Marines @ I served in the National Military Forces, initially in the Armor Forces and then to Special Forces in the 32th Marines Brigade (3th Armoured Squadron). Discharged from the service with the rank of sergeant .I had the honor to be awarded by the 32nd Marines Brigade for my services to the army.
