From May 1995 to June 2005 (10 years 2 months) Owensboro, KYEngineer / Senior Engineer / Staff Engineer - Design & Construction Engineering @ Responsible for pipeline, station, gas conditioning and interconnect projects with single project values up to $12MM. This responsibility was “cradle to grave” meaning the assigned engineer designed the facility, selected vendors, ordered the equipment, supervised creation of construction drawings, bid out the construction, chose the contractor, then went into the field to install the facility. As the project/construction engineer on site, responsibility included directing the construction contractor superintendant and the company inspectors, monitor daily construction activities, resolving construction issues dealing with design, schedule, material or payments. Depending on the scope of the project, the construction crew could range from as few as 15 to well over 50 construction workers plus up to 8 company inspectors that were under the direction of the project engineer. Ensure that developed designs follow approved Company procedures and meet Local, State and Federal regulations and that safety remains the highest priority.
