As the technical lead of a 3-person development team, I assist in the prioritization, design, development, testing and deployment of work requested from our Finance, Workforce Management and Technology Portfolio Services client teams. I also support the Agile Vision installation hosted on that facilitates the daily management of work for Asurion's Agile-based product teams. Responsible for the Business Objects reporting application supporting our client teams' weekly, monthly and quarterly financials reporting needs. From November 2010 to November 2019 (9 years 1 month) Greater Nashville AreaHRIS Technical Analyst @ Kirkland & Ellis LLP Serving as a senior technical analyst supporting the firm’s PeopleSoft 8.9 HR, Payroll and Benefits Administration modules for approximately 3000 employees based in the U.S., U.K. and Asia. Responsible for the development and deployment of several highly complex customizations to extend and enhance functionality for our user population. Recent development efforts have included custom Component Interfaces used as a web service to automate job and demographic data synchronization between PeopleSoft and the firm’s proprietary systems as well as developing a custom front end to streamline data entry for new hires, rehires and contingent workers. This customization was integrated with the firm’s Recruiting module. Other development projects have included the integration of Attorney Bar registration data into a proprietary web application via Integration Broker and Web Services, deploying Self-Service functionality in support of the Firm’s Open Enrollment cycle for 2011, customization and branding of the PeopleSoft sign-in page and deploying LDAP authentication as a standard for logging into the system. Collateral duties include change management liaison within the IT organization for our team, managing relationship and coordinating efforts with our PeopleSoft hosting vendor Cedar Crestone and providing guidance and mentoring to the rest of my team in regards to PeopleSoft best practices, development methodologies and systems analysis. From December 2009 to September 2010 (10 months) Greater Chicago AreaPeopleSoft Testing Coordinator @ Wells Fargo Responsible for the coordination and execution of integration and user acceptance testing of the client’s core Compensation processes and Data Warehouse extracts in support of the client’s PeopleSoft 8.9 HCM integration of the former Wachovia employee population. Responsible for the scheduling of all Compensation and Reporting target processes within the overall PeopleSoft batch schedule in support of testing. Responsible for the creation and execution of test scripts using Mercury Quality Center against all required Compensation processes throughout these testing cycles as well as documenting test results. Interfaced with business process owners to validate and sign-off on test results in support of these test cycles. From September 2009 to December 2009 (4 months) Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul AreaCEO @ DRL Systems, Inc. While we specialize in PeopleSoft implementation, development and administration, DRL Systems, Inc. has been serving the IT needs of businesses, both large and small, since 2005. From May 2005 to December 2009 (4 years 8 months) PeopleSoft Consultant @ Universal Studios Responsible for the fit-gap analysis, modification, design and implementation of approximately 150 reports in support of the client’s PS 7.5 – PS 9.0 HCM upgrade efforts. Using SQR, Application Designer, Crystal Reports, PSQuery and XML Publisher, successfully developed, tested and deployed these reports. From May 2009 to August 2009 (4 months) PeopleSoft Consultant @ Varco Pruden Buildings Responsible for the design, development and deployment of a custom extract interface that exports open invoice data from the client’s existing Accounts Receivables and Billing modules in the Financials 9.0 application suite into a newly acquired Oracle EBS system. Using SQR and Application Designer, successfully created a daily interface to handle this task. From May 2009 to June 2009 (2 months) PeopleSoft Consultant @ Manpower Responsible for supporting of the client’s global PeopleSoft 8.8 Financials/SCM system. Working with business analysts representing the client’s business units located in Germany, Spain, Italy, France, The Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Japan, I was responsible for resolving any issue that these units encounter within their respective areas of the system. I was also responsible for several ‘home office’ initiatives whose purpose is to streamline the company’s PeopleSoft infrastructure and system policies. I was also responsible for working with the client’s offshore technical resources in regards to routine development issues. Tasked with supporting the client’s Integration Broker messaging between the PeopleSoft system and outside vendors. I also designed and implemented a new process that automates the termination of Employee Housing Assistance when an employee is terminated in the system. From September 2006 to May 2007 (9 months) PeopleSoft Security Administrator @ International Truck and Engine Successfully designed, developed and implemented security schemas for the client’s PeopleSoft Financials v8.9 applications suite in support of the clients PeopleSoft implementation. I was also responsible for the maintenance and administration of security issues for the modules already in place. From March 2006 to September 2006 (7 months) Systems Analyst @ Blue Cross and Blue Shield Designed and delivered several custom processes on the client’s HCM 8.8 system that automated the generation and delivery of Leave Notices based on an employee’s Job action. Developed custom components and Application Engine programs that track tuition reimbursement payments that an employee would receive throughout their employment. From December 2005 to March 2006 (4 months) Senior Consultant @ Blue Cross and Blue Shield Member of a project team that provided PeopleSoft consulting services on the Sarbanes-Oxley PeopleSoft Security Audit Project for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Responsible for the development and use of detailed test plans to analyze security and controls setups for the system. Responsible for the extract and analysis of key PeopleSoft security data as it pertains to the PeopleSoft 8.8 HCM and Financials modules. Responsible for the audit of user profiles, roles and permission lists used in the organization to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
