Individual responsibilities include administering and managing the goals for the team around savings, supplier development, purchasing optimization, localized supply, on time delivery, inventory turns, and cash flow. All tasks are defined and executed in order to further develop Cooper Lighting as a premier manufacturer of lighting and lighting related products.Prior Role 2 > Strategic Sourcing Manager: Commodity Manager for ballasts, lamps, laminations, magnet wire, fasteners, and poles. Main focus is developing a robust supply chain at cost competitive levels while implementing new business opportunities and managing projects which will further develop Cooper Lighting as a premier manufacturer of lighting and lighting related products. From January 2005 to November 2005 (11 months) Purchasing Agent @ Philips Lighting 1) Commodity Manager of Raw Materials (Steel, Cable, and Resin) and many Fabricated Components. 2) Responsible for strategic and tactical purchasing activities including negotiating contracts, cost savings and cost avoidance projects, and lean manufacturing practices. 3) Purchasing support and lead for many groups and projects.
