Software Engineer Intern @ Microsoft Dynamics CRM Advanced Search Project: This project involved working in conjunction with my own team members as well as other teams to implement an advanced searching experiences for the latest release of Dynamics CRM. This improvement was built on top of Microsoft Service Fabric utilizing Reliable Actors and Reliable Services to connect CRM to Azure Search. I was directly involved in numerous design discussions surrounding the opt-in/opt-out, provisioning and deprovisioning structure, and the final code implementation. This required construction of two HTTP controllers, and a Reliable Actor. The actor was responsible for communication with other actors within the Service Fabric to correctly provision or deprovision an Azure Search index for a given organization. This contribution allowed my team's code to be used within CRM as well as increasing the portability for future uses. The inter-team design discussions brought to light many project use cases that had not yet been considered yet, too. In order to successfully complete this project it was necessary for me to learn about Microsoft Service Fabric, and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, and become proficient in C#, Visual Studio, and Team Foundation Server GIT.
