Before moving to San Francisco, I worked at Estee Lauder launching Global E-Commerce projects for the Asia Pacific market. I now do user-experience focused design consulting for startups in the bay area, and am passionate about improving the narrative of how people interact with technology.

Product Designer @ Tradecraft is a talent accelerator/ consultancy where trainees do contract work for early-stage startups while learning from mentors in the field. I joined the product design track, where I work with real companies to design and ship products / features through the entire UX lifecycle.

- We Travel: Wetravel.to is a group trip planning website and group travel platform. I lead the landing page redesign team, delivering a full landing page redesign through user research, multiple iterations, and a final validated prototype in six weeks.
- URX: URX helps publishers monetize their mobile content through native advertising. I conducted multiple usability study sessions, created html / javascript prototypes and helped redesign their native advertising carousel unit to drive conversion and improve engagement.
- Captivate Real Estate: Captivate creates immersive experiences for real estate agencies. I created a consistent visual style guide and designed visual assets for Captivate's partner agent, Lehr.
- Apptuto: Apptuto is an iOS and web app designed by CFA charterholders that helps students prepare for the CFA. I prepared a usability testing script, conducted usability studies and contributed to a complete overhaul of their mobile quiz question-and-answer format, both from a usability and visual design standpoint. From September 2015 to November 2015 (3 months) San Francisco Bay AreaOnline Executive, Asia Pacific Strategic Online Projects @ Pioneered new role as APAC Online project management lead, serving as PMO for multiple cross-functional, Global E-Commerce projects.
Lead successful delivery of Clinique China Traveling Popup and Live Chat project, the first Omnichannel test-and-learnin Asia Pacific. Doubled customer base to Clinique's Tmall ( Alibaba) Online boutique in two tier 3 cities without Clinique counters through physical popup events with limited inventory. Worked with developers and vendors to launch video, photo and mobile live chat on Clinique.com.cn. Significantly increased daily sales, mobile sales contribution and customer conversion, with 97% popup visitors becoming new fans of Clinique on Wechat.
Pushed regional initiative towards agile management by introducing agile principles into waterfall framework for long term Online / SAP backend Integration solution. Project managed the Estée Lauder Companies’ FY15 Global Online Strategy (company wide) during leadership shift and organized several internal events, including the annual Online conference.
Managed optimization of all Brands' Global Site Enhancement Rollout process, and lead an initiative to plan production of regional site features annually. From September 2012 to July 2014 (1 year 11 months) PR/New Business/ Media Buying Intern @ Rotating through the public relations, new business, and media planning/ buying departments of creative agency Devito/Verdi. Responsibilities included seasonal PR events, CISION, Salesforce, new business research, creative archives, STRATA, avails, make-goods, media scheduling, cost analysis, and social media strategy.
