Built and maintained a large scale media-focused digital asset management system with a high performance REST API, asynchronous file transcoding and custom search capabilities. Product used by some of the world's largest companies to manage all marketing assets. From August 2014 to January 2018 (3 years 6 months) Greater New York City AreaSoftware Engineer @ OnShift Used Python (Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy), JavaScript (Backbone.js, JQuery, etc...), PostgreSQL and HTML/CSS to create web applications centered around scheduling employees in the long term care industry. Part of a team which developed a mobile application for iOS and Android using PhoneGap, with a combination of Backbone.js and a Django powered REST API. Also performed countless bugfixes and feature enhancements for our main application.
