Manage team of 10 applications engineers in Sunnyvale Ca, and Portland Oregon.

Develop key laser processes in metals engraving, metals cutting, thin film removal, fabric marking, sapphire marking, glass cutting, and micro via drilling.
Laser Division (EOlite Lasers) – Principal Laser Applications Engineer and Lab Manager
Built, operated and managed Silicon Valley laser applications lab for Montreal based startup Pyrophotonics, later acquired by ESI and combined with EOlite lasers of Bordeaux.
Developed lab materials processing robotic systems for IR, Green and UV wavelengths.
Integrated galvo scanners, motion control systems, and laser and optical components utilizing MatLab to create a simple graphical user interface (GUI) to automate multi-variable process test matrices.
Coordinated applications activities in California, Canada, and France and at customer sites worldwide.
