Marilyn is a Senior Enterprise Account Manager who owns Cisco’s highly strategic Defence Business. In this role, she has achieved 165% sales target for the Company Strategic Public Sector Account and won the FY14 Sales Champion in APJC. With her strong domain knowledge of her customer’s business, she prides herself in her solution selling approach which led to the increase in Cisco franchise and customer wallet-share, broadening sales into newer technologies such as cyber security and data center cloud solutions. She has represented and elevated Cisco’s image through participation of National Level Events & Industry Exhibitions.
Marilyn has been appointed the Secretary to Cisco's Government Council. She initiated meetings with government stakeholders to drive National IT Initiatives. Marilyn proved her abilities to cover top level execs when she orchestrated, hosted the largest Customers delegates (CEO, CIOs) for business learning of Internet of Things to several MNC Headquarters in the US. The trip was a great success with positive feedbacks, followups which resulted in higher revenue growth for Cisco.
In her past role as Territory Account Manager for Public Sector, Marilyn has achieved 156% sales target in FY10 and won the Juniper Networks APAC Solutions Leadership Award with landmark win in company’s full solution portfolio. She is a challenger and displaced 2 incumbent competitors to increase Juniper’s wallet share in Research Institutions. Notably, Marilyn was the first sales in ASEAN to sell the cutting edge QFabric solution. Her landmark wins included Security solutions worth USD1.86M in the Singapore public sector from FY09-FY11.
