📖 Summary

The working experience has been all gained operating within the Saipem Group since 2001 within the engineering and construction offshore business divisions. Currently he is involved within the Offshore BU as Deputy Project Director for the South Stream Project, which Invitation to Tender has been followed since the mid 2012 till the preliminary award of the Early Works Contract in October 2013 and the final award of the EPIC Contract in March 2014. Previous management roles within Saipem Group have covered the positions as Project Manager on Kashagan EPC2,3,4&FFD-PI Contract Amendment for the installation of clad-pipelines, umbilicals, power and fiber optic cables and onshore termination between the Hub1 and the EPC2,3,4 clusters, initially coordinated in Milan and then managed in Kazakhstan until the completion of the site execution phase and, as Engineering Manager under the Kashagan Piles&Flares Project, an EPC Lump Sum Contract for the fabrication and installation of piles, platforms, flares, bridges, piperacks, and pedestal cranes. From 2001 till 2007 he was a member of the Engineering Department of Saipem Energy International as structural engineering analyst involved on the design of offshore platform, pipelines, risers, piles and as methods engineer for their safe installation in both shallow and deep water environment.
