Managed all negotiations of equipment purchases and labor contracts associated with an $18M capital project at the Green River, WY site. Reduced Working Capital by 5% on a $20M warehouse/stores services through VMI programs, reduction of low turn items, and consigned inventory.

Global Strategic Sourcing Manager (2000 – 2007)
Developed and implemented sourcing strategy for FMC’s $200M spend in MRO’s, packaging, logistics, and plant service activities for global manufacturing facilities. Worked closely with vendors to establish good supplier sourcing relationships delivering value on a Total Cost of Ownership methodology. Responsible for managing the purchasing consortium of sixteen North American and twenty International manufacturing operations with the goal of lowering procurement expenses. From 2000 to 2007 (7 years) Plant and Operations Manager @ Responsible for the safe, efficient and cost effective manufacturing, packaging, and shipment of pesticides for FMC’s Agricultural Products Group Institute Plant with an operating budget of $250M. Managed a plant complement of 49 employees and during my tenure achieved 1,000,000 hours without a lost time workday case. Acted as the Champion for the roll out of Six Sigma Tool and utilizing the process, nameplate capacity for the Carbosulfan unit was increased by 10%, along with a 2% yield improvement, without any capital expenditure. Effectively integrated outsourced manufacturing to the overall supply chain of Carbamate, including close coordination with China, Indonesia, and Brazil. From 1997 to 2000 (3 years) Senior Project Manager @ Managed the engineering, design and construction efforts of a $25M process expansion project from preliminary design to start-up executed over fourteen months duration within budget and two months ahead of schedule. Directed 45% of the construction labor-hours at an off-site location associated with the construction of modular units, in parallel with the on-site construction efforts minimizing plant outages. Responsible for the on-site construction efforts of ten subcontractors, totaling over 165,000 work-hours, with no lost workday cases.
