Owner @ I bought the company known as Chantry Estates in August 2007 - which had been trading since 2001. Initially the Company dealt with lettings, property management and property sales. I took the business on and concentrated on the management and lettings side until 2008 when I introduced the Maintenance Department of Chantry Estates, Due to continued growth, in July 2009 we bought the Company known as Links Property UK, which was a National Investor Based company, who bought property on behalf of investors and moved to our new office premises at Parsons House in Washington, In November 2010 we purchased Sky Blue Pink lettings which doubled our company portfolio over night, in all areas, lettings, management and maintenance. This increased my knowledge and passion for property which lead to me to set up a management company and 6 months later I bought Chantry. From April 2005 to August 2007 (2 years 5 months) Bensham, GatesheadPermanent Night Shift Manager @ I was employed by B&Q at their flagship store, near the Metrocentre as Permanent Night Shift Manager. It was here I learned and improved on many aspects of DIY and maintenance and learned the uses of many power tools. I managed a team between 50 - 100 people, organising the staff to replenish stock and preparing the store for the next days trading. From February 2003 to April 2005 (2 years 3 months) Gateshead, Tyne and WearPost Boy - Dogs Body - Delivery Man @ I started work for an employment agency in Newcastle, the first role I had was as a post room boy for the Benefits Office in Byker, Newcastle - I was then transferred to Sunderland (by way of promotion!!). Supringly enough, I found this rather boring, so asked for a change in career direction through the agency and ended up delivering wood for a wood yard in Felling. This too I found quite boring so only lasted here for about 6 months and sought permanent employment elsewhere. From September 2002 to February 2003 (6 months) North East EnglandTrainee Manager - Manger of Flagship Store @ My basic training lasted 6 days until I became manager of my own store in Gateshead - the flag ship store, I managed this store and was sent to other stores to troubleshoot for 5 years I was then promoted to Auditor for Wines and Spirits Division of the Company working for the Head Office based in Prestatyn in North Wales. I continued with this role until the merger with Somerfield, when I was made redundant. From January 1989 to August 2002 (13 years 8 months) Gateshead - Consett - NewcastlePoliceman @ After 11 weeks basic training as a Police Officer I qualified and began my career as an officer within the Royal Air Force.
