I am an accounting and finance graduate working as a consultant in Risk Advisory at Deloitte, returning after completing a year's industrial placement at the firm in 2013. Whilst at university, I completed a dissertation based on career motivations in the Accounting industry, and if there is a variation between male and female professionals. The topic of my dissertation demonstrates my passion for such issues and I will interested to see how my career develops as a female accountant and I would be keen to do further research into the issue' in the future. During my placement at Deloitte, I worked on a variety of different engagements. With work such as Service Auditor Reporting, IT Auditing and LEAN reviews at a variety of clients from Public Sector organisations, to manufacturing companies and financial institutions. I will continue similar engagements now that I am a graduate at the firm.
