My role consisted of: implementing ideas and mockups from the UX and design team and incorporating them into the Adobe CQ application (as well as acting as a go between for the Java developers, business and design team on what was possible to implement in the given timeframe and potential pitfalls), giving feedback to the business on the current (old) website and offer ideas on how best to include them into the new look and feel, maintaining a style guide as well as working alongside the copywriting team to ensure the designs work with the vast amount of content we had to migrate.

This involved creating mockups, liaising and presenting to the business, server side developers and other key stakeholders and finally implementing them to completion.
This was quite a challenging role because it involved assessing the technical restrictions of the old serverside framework, what could actually be achieved and what couldn’t and creating realistic time estimates and milestones based on these.
