Vice President, Moschino @ -Devising and implementing the brand’s new distribution and strategy after the appointment of our new Creative Director, Jeremy Scott in order to evolve the business and make it one of the most talked about brands of 2014. -Oversee sales/distribution/projections/budgets for all Moschino RTW and accessories collections: Moschino, Moschino Cheap and Chic, Love Moschino, Moschino Uomo, Moschino Handbags and Shoes, Love Moschino Handbags and Shoes. -Main liaison between NY and Italian offices regarding all aspects of the business: budgets, shipping, selling reports, and stylistic concerns. -From season to season, work appointments and cultivate relationships with department stores and specialty stores in New York/Milan showrooms. -Develop strategies with department store senior management and planning teams to improve sell-throughs and profitabilities. Review monthly profitability reports to monitor inventory and store sales plans. Devise ways to keep the sales floors and presentations dynamic (I.E. Partnering with stores to hire dedicated sales associates or identifying early best sellers). -Develop and implement new strategies to grow the business with particular emphasis on increasing budgets and making the collections more profitable (I.E. Work with buyers and design team to develop exclusive product for department stores and offering them with increased margins). -Manage COOP budget which is based upon a percentage of total sales and a contribution from the Maison. -Travel throughout North America to work with and educate department store retail managers and specialty store owners on the brand, display, and improving/growing the business. -Compile and review RTW buys with the Moschino NYC boutique. Advise on best sellers at competitor stores including sale date breaks/promotions. From May 2008 to Present (7 years 3 months) New York CityVice President @ -Currently the Sales Director of both Moschino and Pollini. -Recently appointed Director of Sales for this 60 year old brand that specializes in shoes and handbags. -Lead merchandising/style meetings with Nicholas’s team to shape the collection for the American market. -Develop strategies to increase the volume and raise awareness for the brand including a reintroduction/reinvention of heritage styles (predominately riding boots) that have been staples of the brand. From January 2014 to Present (1 year 7 months) Greater New York City AreaSales Director @ -Oversaw 5 different collections in the Gaultier division: Gaultier2 Homme and Gaultier2 Femme RTW, men’s and women’s mainline accessories and shoes, Homme Soleil and Swim, and Jean’s Paul Gaultier. -Maintained relations with 3 different Italian factories, Aeffe, Fuzzi, and Eurocormar. -Worked on the quick and successful launch of mainline accessories. Attended biannual meetings with the designer and advised on how to develop a luxurious competitive collection. -Developed new sales strategies for Jean’s Paul Gaultier in order to compete with the American contemporary market.
