I consider myself a "grass roots" IT leader, working from ground floor IT all the way up to CIO. I take a "no job too small" approach to my work and when combined with my customer service orientation, it has enabled me to lead, motivate, and have successful teams.
Specialties: As CIO for Save the Children since 2009 my teams and I have been upgrading our systems and leveraging best in class technology for Fundraising, Field/Child Facing Logisitics, Emergency Response and Back Office. We are helping to transform our organization, enhance the Donor experience and solidfy the service behind our product.
I am a member of Fairfield/Westchester SIM and serve on its Board/program committees. I am also the primary member at CIO4Good and NetHope for Save the Children US. A 20 year Newtown Ct. resident, I was first responder for the 12/14/12 tragedy. I am now a Board Member of Newtown Kindness helping to give back to the community and promote kindness as a guiding principle of humanity in a time when it is so desperately needed.
