Research Assistant @ Stochastic Analysis and Nonlinear Dynamics (SAND) Lab Explored ocean wave dynamic instabilities and the resulting probability of rogue waves. Developed a MATLAB simulation of rogue wave occurrences. From January 2014 to June 2014 (6 months) Graduate Research Assistant building the MIT Cheetah @ MIT Biomimetic Robotics Lab Simulated and designed energetically optimal gaits for MIT Cheetah. Used principles from biomechanics and the methods used by animals to study how a running robotic quadruped could most efficiently run. Built a model and simulation of the robot. Utilized shooting and collocation methods to perform trajectory optimization to find most efficient motions, controls and design parameters for the robotic cheetah. From September 2014 to January 2016 (1 year 5 months) Hardware Systems Laboratory @ PARC Designed and implemented an apparatus and controls for a prototype lithography platform.
