I work at (and am a co-founder of) Ass Savers – an experiment in product simplicity and brand development gone horribly right. In what seems like a previous life I was a graphic designer in several small studios and then later a UX designer helping conceptualize new ways to support the (digital) publishing industry. Ultimately it was my desire to spend my working hours doing something that didn't feel like work that brought me back to Ass Savers. These days I attempt to balance my roles as Director of Brand and also President & CEO of our US-based company, Ass Savers, Inc.

Co-Founder, Designer @ At Ass Savers we took a practical idea and paired it with a fun name, then we added the ambition to produce several hundred on our own and sell them through a local bike shop and our simple web store. Tens of thousands of asses saved (and a couple of years) later, we've secured distribution to major markets around the world, exhibited internationally, collaborated with top saddle manufacturers, and seen our initial one-off product into a fledgling company. I've been there from the beginning, from taking the original pitch from our now CEO to naming, developing our first brand identity, product graphics, communication/marketing pieces, and putting together the first couple of versions of our online shop. Of course, at a startup you wear all the hats and I've also done my fair share of processing and packing orders out of a bedroom, providing customer service, communicating with shops, developing business relationships, and taking care of the many of the other odds and ends needed to get a company going.
