restaurants among others.He specifically worked on their go-to-market strategies and preparation for investments and Mergers & Acquisitions.
In addition to working with entrepreneurs, Joshua created,
implemented, and directed the first-ever Endeavor MBA, an internal
training and education program for Endeavor employees to better
equip them to serve and help entrepreneurs.
Joshua also was part of a small team within Endeavor who provided
internal consulting. The main work of the team was to create
methodologies and business procedures, enhance formal structure,
and streamline activities.
Furthermore, Joshua created multiple new team-building and social
activities to improve office morale and unity. From 2012 to 2013 (1 year) Mexico City Area, MexicoConsultant @ Consulted with Fortune 500 companies as well as schools and non-profits in all different sectors on ways to improve efficiency and production based on the needs and desires of customers and key constituents. Joshua regularly developed methodologies, conducted interviews,
analyzed and synthesized data, and presented to client executives.
His work was both in English and Spanish. From 2008 to 2013 (5 years) Rochester, New York AreaFinancial Management Program in Aviation @ During his time at GE, Joshua had 3
main projects: the Country Purity Project, developing an internal
website, and responding to an external audit from the Qatari
The Country Purity Project was a high-level project that was directly
monitored by the CFO of GE Aviation. This project completely
changed the way that GE recorded and accounted for their
international activity in the 54 countries they have operations in.
Joshua specifically re-designed ledger codes, communicated
changes and new protocol moving forward, and completely
transferred over and implemented the new process for GE Aviation's
6 biggest international locations. His work was used to test the new
methodology and was later applied to the other 48 countries that GE
Aviation operates in.
Joshua also created a new internal website for use across the entire
finance division of GE Aviation. After conducting research and focus
groups with key constituent groups, Joshua designed and launched
the website, which is still in use today at GE Aviation. From 2011 to 2011 (less than a year) Cincinnati AreaCommission on Remembrance Fellow, Director of Facebook Memorial Day Project @ Joshua proposed, created, directed and executed the White House
Facebook Memorial Day Project. Joshua worked with Facebook
executives, top White House officials and key programmers from
Involver, an application developer during the course of the project.
The project provided a way for people to honor fallen
military members from the Revolutionary War until the Wednesday
before Memorial Day on Facebook. The end project resulted in a
Memorial Day application that had hundreds of thousands of people
from across the United States participating in the one-day special
event including President Obama, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of
Staff Mullen and many politicians coupled with celebrities like Britney
Spears, Demi Moore, Lady Antebellum and more. After the success
of this project, the White House requested that Joshua stay on as an
external consultant for future, similar projects.
In addition to the Facebook initiative, Joshua coordinated with
politicians, military officials, and grieving families on several visits
and ceremonies at memorials and at Arlington National Cemetery.
He also worked with celebrities including Taylor Swift and Kellie Pickler to
create opportunities for families (and specifically children) who had
lost a loved one in war to meet their favorite celebrities. From 2010 to 2011 (1 year) Washington D.C. Metro AreaProtocol Officer @ Joshua hosted foreign dignitaries and VIPs at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and ensured that operations went smoothly and key stakeholders were satisfied. From 2010 to 2010 (less than a year) Cape Town Area, South AfricaTeacher, School Administrator @ Joshua worked full-time during the 2007-2008 school year as an
English teacher in 2 schools in rural Ecuador. He taught 1st and 2nd
grade, as well as 8th grade.
After being in Ecuador for a few months, Joshua was asked to
serve additionally in a more administrative role helping to coordinate
curriculum development and implementation in the 2 schools where
